Doha: Sri Lanka-based foreign employment group Trans Gulf Pvt Ltd (TGL) has joined hands with Qatar-based Doha International Consultants (DIC), a client solution provider in a bid to serve the employment and workforce industry in the country.

Incorporated in 1990 in the South-Asian island, TGL has been recognised by United Nations and the Employment Bureau of Sri Lanka.

TGL has also been enlisted in the annual top 20 industry companies by the Sri Lankan Bureau of Foreign Employment regularly for over a decade.

Commenting on the agreement, TGL Group founder Mahmood Mohamed Thasleem said: “It is our responsibility toward the society to find employment for the enhancement of standard of living and career development. To fulfil these effectively we are working in close cooperation with foreign employers and studying their markets to meet various job requirements in the fast developing markets such as Doha.”

DIC, which works as a partner with its clients to provide them with enhanced solutions to overcome the challenges in the changing business scenario is engaged in creating tangible, lasting value for businesses.

DIC founder Nasser M J Al Marri said: “Qatar is commonly referred to as the ‘City of Balance’. While it joins the ranks of being one of the fastest developing nations in the world, our merger with TGL can be considered as one of timely ventures to create a win-win situation for both employers and employee as well as to assist corporate clientele to find the right blend of nationalities around the world.”

The officials further emphasised the team of TGL-DIC has a distinguished ability to customize international business practices to meet local business. In addition, it constantly seeks innovative ways to optimise today’s most advanced tools to cost cut and provide new solutions for the clients.

“Today’s businesses are constantly influenced by global change and rival market competition. The sophisticated clients demand new ways of seeing who they are and thinking about what they want from each other and from companies.

“Many organisations around the world including those operating from the Gulf region are urged not only to improve their strategic and organisational reforms but also to improve their technology based human capital capability,” Thasleem said.
