Qatar-UAE Exchange hands over car for winner

Demissie Tafesse Olane receives the key for his new car from officials of Qatar–UAE Exchange.

Doha: Demissie Tafesse Olane was the winner of a brand new car at the grand draw of the “Summer Surprise” of the Qatar–UAE Exchange promotion.

At a function held at the Qatar -UAE Exchange Clock Roundabout Branch (Near Gold Souq), Demissie Tafesse was presented the keys to his car by the General Manager of Qatar-UAE Exchange, Lakshmi Narayanan S. A jubilant Demissie Tafesse said he was a regular customer of Qatar–UAE Exchange, but never thought that he would be the winner of such an exciting prize from the brand he always chose.

Demissie had done his winning transaction from the Clock Roundabout branch of Qatar-UAE Exchange. Qatar–UAE Exchange launched its “Summer Surprise” promotion in Qatar to acknowledge its growing customer base and popularity.

There were 60 fortnightly prizes and one grand prize offered during the promotion, and fortnightly draws were conducted in the Head Office of Qatar–UAE Exchange, each picking 15 winners.

The Grand Draw held on October 25, picked one winner who won a KIA Cerato car. Winners were picked from among customers who sent Money Transfer or Foreign Exchange transactions during the promotion period.

Chief Operating Officer for Global Operations of UAE Exchange, Y Sudhir Kumar Shetty said the “Summer Surprise promotion was developed to appreciate and reward the customers of Qatar-UAE Exchange.

“Such periodic special offers help to strengthen the relation that we have with our valued customers and build an image about our diverse and unique product portfolio in the minds of the people; exceeding their expectations and offering them a world of choice to select from,” Shetty said.

Lakshmi Narayanan also thanked the partners - Geepas Electronics, Qatar Shopping Complex and Al Attiya Motors and Trading Company for their support in making the promotion a success.
