The Grand Hyatt Doha formally opened its signature Thai restaurant, Isaan, yesterday and introduced its “Grand Weekends” package. Somwang Khruasuwan, Ministry Counsellor and Head of Chancery at the Embassy of Thailand, formally opened the restaurant. “I’m very excited to see a new Thai restaurant opening in Doha. Thai cuisine is getting more popular these days… getting more famous… and even now, it is one of the more known regional dishes, together with the French, Chinese, Japanese and Italian dishes, worldwide,” said Khruasuwan.
DOHA: Hotels in Doha have lined up activities to celebrate Easter tomorrow. The Sharq Village and Spa has planned Easter activities which include Easter Egg Hunt, colouring competition, petting zoo, face painting and a welcome visit from the Easter bunny. Dining options include brunch at Al Liwan, bunny tea at Al Jalsa and three-course lunch at Al Dana. The W Doha Hotel and Residences will welcome guests tomorrow with an Easter Brunch from noon to 4 pm. at the hotel’s Market by Jean-Georges restaurant. The Doha Marriott hotel will treat guests to a three-day Easter Brunch to celebrate the occasion, where chefs will showcase all their favourite Easter dishes and present them on a “long” Brunch Buffet at the hotel’s Restaurant Gallery. InterContinental Doha will offer a brunch buffet in their Café Restaurant with a selection of live stations, juicy lamb dishes and plenty of chocolate treats.
