Emir receives Croatian foreign minister

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani received yesterday morning Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Jandrokovic and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to Qatar. Cooperation between the two countries and issues of common concern were reviewed during the meeting. The meeting was attended by Chief of the Emiri Diwan H E Sheikh Abdurrahman bin Saud Al Thani, Director of the Emir’s Office H E Sheikha Hind bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir’s Secretary for Follow-up Affairs H E Saad bin Mohammad Al Rumaihi, Director of European and American Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry Ambassador Adel Ali Al Khal, Croatian Ambassador to Qatar Draghen Margeta and CEO of Qatari Diar and Chairman and Managing Director of Barwa Ghanem Saad Al Saad.

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has received a phone call from Ismail Haniyah, the deposed Palestinian prime minister. They reviewed the developments of the situation on the Palestinian arena.

Minister meets ALO Director General

Doha: The Minister of Labour Dr Sultan bin Hassan Al Dhabet Al Dosari met here yesterday with Director General of the Arab Labour Organisation (ALO) Ahmad Mohammad Luqman and his accompanying delegation. They discussed scopes of cooperation between the Ministry of Labour and the ALO.
