Doha: Qatar will take part in the 21st meeting of Parties to the Montreal Protocol on ozone-depleting substances due to convene in Port Ghalib Marsa Alam, Egypt, on Saturday and Sunday. The Environment Minister H E Abdullah bin Mubarak bin A’boud Al Mahdadi will head Qatar’s delegation to the meeting. The meeting will discuss a draft report of the regional implementation on five fields have been offered to the UN Sustainable Development in its 18th session due to convene in May 2010. The 43rd session of the executive office meeting due in November 9 and the 21st session of the Arab environment ministers’ council will also be discussed during the meeting. The Minister will attend the ceremony of launching the first edition of the Arab environment expectations report.
