Ideal Indian School kids showcase talent

Doha: The Ideal Indian School released its video magazine titled Spectrum providing a novel communication platform for the students to showcase their talents and share their ideas and perspectives.

It is the first ever visual magazine produced by an Indian School in Qatar. The complete video magazine which runs for about an hour has been anchored by Cindy Fernandez of class XII. The news segment “News Desk” highlighting school activities is presented by Ariba Ghani and the Sports update by Ben John .

In the interview segment Hedaboy Abhijith Sreedhar has a quick chat with Azhar Khan who topped in Qatar in class XII CBSE. There is a counselling segment on the problems of slow learners by the school counsellor Suman Sarah. In the cultural segment, Atul K Menon and Vignesh present a carnatic classical fusion and the students of Class VII of Girls Wing perform a dance.

The Quiz show named “Mind Cracker” is hosted by Ankita Menon. Spectrum is directed by Anwar M K , the school Cultural Activities Coordinator, assisted by English teacher Sandya Shekhar. The first copy of Spectrum, which was released on November 18, was received by the Principal Prof Dr Mohammed Aejaz from the School President Mohammed Iqbal.

School Vice President P T Yoous, Joint Secretary Nizar C, Head of facilities Mohammed Mukaram, Dr Abraham Kollamana and Vice Principal Dr Leelamma Joseph were also present. The students will soon receive a copy of DVD and it will also be uploaded to the school website.
