Nancy Ajram, Fares in concert tonight

DOHA: Famous Lebanese singers Nancy Nabil Ajram and Fares Karam will perform in Doha to add spice to the Eid Al Adha celebrations. The duo will be performing live at the Marriott beach today from 9pm.

Ajram is a multi-platinum Lebanese singer and Goodwill Ambassador to the Unicef. She had sold over 30 million records ranking third best selling female artist in Lebanese history. Ajram has released seven studio albums to date and appeared in numerous music videos and commercials. She participated in the most significant Arabic festivals and won multiple awards, most importantly the 2008 World Music Award (WMA) of best-selling Middle Eastern artist, the youngest Arab WMA winner to date.

She is the first and only female sponsor and spokesperson of Coca-Cola in the Middle East and Arab world.

Faris Karam is a famous Lebanese singer who has produced many hit singles around the Arab world such as “El-Tanoura” (The Skirt). He was awarded from Arts Studio “Studio El Fan” in 1996-1997, the Golden Prize and a high-level evaluation prize in the field of the Lebanese traditional song.

Throughout his career, he has participated in a large number of concerts, public celebrations and festivals. He also made multiple international artistic trips to the US, Canada, Venezuela and Australia, in addition to several trips to Europe and South America. His musical style in recent times is linked more closely to dabke.
