Doha: On behalf of the Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council H E Saad bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud will take part on Sunday in the inauguration ceremony of the primary stage premises of the Doha Academy in Mauritius, which was donated by the Emir with an aim of consolidating and strengthening the relations between the two countries and for the benefit of children of Mauritius and to spread knowledge and Islamic culture. The heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani laid the foundation stone for the project in January 2002. The project includes the Doha Secondary School, divided into a school for boys and for girls as well as a primary school.
