Doha • Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar announces the names of students placed on the Dean’s List for the 2006 spring semester.
The Dean’s List distinction is earned by the top-ranking students in business administration (BA) and computer science (CS) each semester in recognition of outstanding academic achievements.
Receiving Dean’s List honors in the computer science program are: Fahad Al Mahmoud and Fatema Farghaly.
Receiving Dean’s List honors in the business administration program are: Yasmine Abdel-Rahman, Noor Al Athirah, Amna Al Thani, Lulwah Al Thani, Syed Hasnain, Imran Karim, Mona Maher, Sahrr Malik, Hicham Nedjari and Jinanne Tabra.
The qualifications for the dean’s list are identical to those set by the university’s Pittsburgh campus. Students follow the same curriculum and are taught to the same high standards with the same outstanding performance requirements.
