Qatar discusses financial and  banking cooperation with Tajikistan

Qatar Central Bank (QCB) Governor H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Saoud Al Thani met with First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Said Davlatali during his visit to Tajikistan and discussed the joint cooperation between both countries in the financial and banking sectors.
The QCB Governor also discussed the ways to strengthen cooperation in the financial and banking sectors with Tajikstan officials, in a separate meeting.
Sheikh Abdullah met with Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda and discussed further bolstering the joint cooperation between both sides through activating the memorandum of understanding signed between both parties on February 6th, 2017 in Doha. They also reviewed a presentation on developing the Islamic financial services.
The meetings were attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Ali bin Mubarak Al Mohannadi. The QCB Governor was accompanied by Director of QCB’s Financial Stability and Statistics Department Sheikh Khalid bin Saud Al Thani, QIIB CEO Dr Abdulbasit Ahmed Al Shaibei, Masraf Al Rayan Group CEO and a number of QCB officials were also included in the delegation.
