DOHA: The Philippine Property and Investment Show-Qatar (PPIS-Q) 2016 will be held on October 28 and 29 and include exhibitors from the Philippine investment sector, organisers have announced.
Joseph Timothy Rivera, Chairman of the Association of Filipino Real Estate Executives in Qatar (AFREEQ) and Mohammed Al Shahrani, Chairman of ALAQAT, the events partner, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday in preparation for the PPIS-Q which will be held for the second year.
The show promises to be bigger this year with the inclusion of exhibitors representing Philippine investment opportunities such as online stock trading, legitimate MLM options as well as small scale import and export opportunities, say organisers.
The inaugural exhibition held last year showcased the Philippines’s top nine property developers and featured various lectures on Philippine real estate investment opportunities including a special seminar by renowned Asian property guru Noli “El Subastahero” Alleje.
AFREEQ is planning to re-invite Alleje to the upcoming show, along with a Philippine government official and other experts in the field.
The announcement was made coinciding with the Association’s second annual general assembly at the Hillside Catering & Function Hall. The meeting saw the presentation of the annual report and the election of the new set of officers for 2016-2017.
