Fossati’s boys land in Korea for Cup qualifier
Qatari football players arrive at the Seoul International Airport yesterday, ahead of their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against South Korea which will be played at the Suwon World Cup Stadium in Gyeonggi-do tomorrow.

SEOUL: Coach Jorge Fossati and the Qatar squad landed in Seoul yesterday for their key 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match which will be played tomorrow. 
The match - the first one under new coach Fossati - will be played at Suwon World Cup Stadium, starting at 2.00pm Qatar time. The players and the backroom staff landed in Korea yesterday evening.
The Qatar players posed for pictures with those at the airport to receive the squad.
After the game on October 6, the Qatar squad will return to Doha for their Asian Zone clash against Syria on October 11.
The return clash will be played under lights at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. Qatar played against Iran (September 1) and Uzbekistan (September 6) last month. Fossati, who named key strikers Sebastian Soria and Rodrigo Tabata in his squad on Sunday, replaced Daniel Carreno as coach a little over a week ago.
