QFA disciplinary body suspends, fines 3 Umm Salal players

The disciplinary committee of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) has suspended three Umm Salal players for a month for insulting the match referee.
The trio of players include Abdul Aziz Al Yihri, who was also fined QR15,000. Abdulrahman Al Khater and Ghadir Al Shammari who were also suspended got a fine of QR 10,000 each.
The committee also decided, at its meeting, which was held on Thursday, to draw the attention of Al Arabi and impose a fine of QR 10,000 on the club because of the delay of players to get to the stadium ahead of the start of the match with Al Ahli in the sixth round of the QNB Stars League (QSL).
Also, the disciplinary committee drew the attention of Al Rayyan’s player Sebastian Soria for not cooperating with the organisers of his team’s match with Al Sadd.
It was also decided to draw the attention of Al Mesaimeer coach Dragan Tadic, and fined him QR 5,000 because of his objection to the decisions of the referee in the last game.
