Pakistan International School honours meritorious students

Pakistan International School accredited the outstanding endeavours of the meritorious students who came off with flying colours in the annual examination of academic year 2016-17 by conferring medals, and merit certificates on them.

Hafiz Junaid Amir Sial, Community Welfare Attache’, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Qatar & Vice-Chairman, Board of Governors, graced the occasion as a chief guest. Principal Pakistan International School Nargis RazaOtho, guests, Heads of all four wings, teachers and the galaxy of outstanding achievers of the School, parents of the award winners and a large number of students attended the event.

Muhammad Moosa, a student of Grade 10 and Mauza Naseem, a student of Grade 11 were the hosts.

Budding stars of KG Wing got feted by the Principal first with certificates and medals. Students from various Grades presented thrilling performance during the event.

Top three position holders of their respective classes from Grade V to VIII were awarded with medals and certificate by the Principal and the Chief Guest.

Teachers of KG Wing were honoured for their outstanding performance. Ghazia Mahreen, Zerka Khan and Saima Afzal received the best teachers’ awards.The distinguished teachers from Junior Wing who received their awards included, Adila Noman, Saima Khatoon Naqvi and Rabia Gul. Teachers from Girls Wing who were acknowledged for their valuable work were Ambreen Mehboob (also the Winner of  iEARN Project ‘Digital Citizenship’), Naheed Akhtar, Shagufta Riaz, Ummara Ahsan and Kulsoom Imtiaz. Shahida Fatima Zaidi honoured with a certificate for her excellent services.

Teachers of Boys Wing received their awards for their priceless work were Abdul Basit Khan Abbasi, Zia-ur-Rehman, Noor Hussain, Naeem Fakhar and Mohsin Ali Lashari. This year the management decided to acknowledge the valuable contribution and constant support of one of the parents. Mustafa Iebesh, Father of Hala and Reem has always been supportive and cooperative. He received his award for being The Most Cooperative Parent.
