VCUQatar announces summer programmes for kids and young adults

The summer holidays are fast approaching and finding something to keep the young minds occupied in a creative and fruitful way is a challenge for most parents.

VCUQatar has come to the help with 16 summer classes covering a wide range of activities from Fashion to sculptures.

They have something for everyone. There are classes for kids as young as 4 like Art Fun to Photography classes for young adults, which is open to people above 16 years of age.

Classes commence on July 9 and continues through August. The course fee varies from Qr660 to QR2,200 depending on the programme you choose. In some classes you need to buy some materials mentioned by the faculty, while a few art supplies are provided by VCUQatar. Check the list provided by the university while registering for the programme.

This will be a great opportunity for kids to learn a new skill from the experts in the field. All the faculty members who will be teaching the classes are experts in the field with years of international experience mentoring students.

The courses on offer include Art Fun - all at sea, Art Fun - Tea Party, 3 D Sculpture - Shadow Stories, Art plus Math & Science, Art Exploration - Pop Art, Art Exploration - Collage Creatures,  3 D Sculpture - This is my City Dream, Creative Discovery, Fashion Illustration, Design Intensive, Experimental Print & Collage Workshop, Photography for young adults.

Registration for the courses is open at http://www.qatar.vcu.edu/community/summer-program or interested people can visit VCUQatar during office hours Sundays to Thursdays from 9 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 3:45 pm.

They have limited seats for each class and if they don’t get the minimum number of students then the course will be cancelled and fees returned.
