Moscow: A new round of peace talks on Syria in the Kazakh capital of Astana is likely to be held in early July, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said Tuesday.
"This issue is being discussed, but there is a desire among our fellow Muslim partners, first of all the Turks and the Iranians, who are sure to make these meetings immediately after Ramadan," RIA news agency quoted Bogdanov as saying.
Bogdanov expected the next round of Geneva talks to be held immediately after the meetings in Astana.
