Qatar Charity to build homes for flood victims in Indonesia

Jakarta: Qatar Charity signed a cooperation and partnership agreement with the Municipality of Garut, Indonesia, to build houses for several victims of the floods that hit the city in September last year.
The agreement, which was signed at the headquarters of the Qatar Charity in Jakarta, provides for the construction of 100 houses for the most needy and most affected families. The project is scheduled to be implemented at Al Kawthar complex, as the municipal authority will nominate the beneficiary families on the bases agreed upon with Qatar Charity. President of Garut City Rudi Janwan praised the support of Qatar and its people during difficult times and worst crises.
