IIS holds Islamic awareness competition

Ideal Indian School (IIS) organised Inter-School Islamic Awareness Competition for the expatriate students recently. The main objective of the competition was to inculcate the teachings of Islam and make the young generation close to Prophet’s (PBUH) Sunnah and also to polish their skills in Holy Quran Phonetic Science.

The competition includes Elocution and Holy Quran Recitation in both Junior and senior categories in which 11 expatriate schools took part.

Abu Obaida Hamid Al Jabrawi, Superintendent of Muslim Emigrant Community, was the chief guest for the felicitation function and gave away the prizes to the winners.

Principal Syed Shoukath Ali, Heads of Sections, Head of Arabic Department Abdul Hye, Teachers and Students attended the function.  Azam Khan, Vice-Headmaster, Boys’ Section, welcomed the gathering and Asif Ali proposed vote of thanks. Mohammed Sajid  Shameem compeered the programme.
