Qatar announces working hours during Ramadan

Doha: The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud has issued a circular on working hours during the holy month of Ramadan for the ministries, government bodies and public institutions.

The circular said that on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan for the Hijri year 1438, it was decided that the official working hours during the holy month for civil employees will be five hours a day, starting at 9am until 2pm.
