Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department has warned that inshore the weather will be hazy to misty at places at first and partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain maybe thundery at places at times on Thursday. Even offshore it will be hazy and cloudy with scattered rain accompanied by thunder at times.
The department warned of expected thundery rain at places associated with strong wind inshore and, expected thunder rain associated with strong wind and high sea offshore.
Wind inshore will be easterly to southeasterly 05 to 15 knot, reaching 25 knot at places with thundery rain, offshore will be southeasterly to easterly at 12 to 22 knot, reaching 27 knot at places with thundery rain, decreasing from 10 to 20 knot by night.
Visibility will be 04 to 08/03 kilometer or less at places at first. The sea state inshore will be between one to three feet, rises to four feet with the thundery rain, offshore will be four to seven feet, rises to ten feet with thundery rain.
