Panasonic appoints new MD for Middle East & Africa

Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa, one of the global technology leaders, has announced the appointment of its new Managing Director Hiroki (Harris) Soejima (pictured), who took charge from April 2, 2017.
With an association of more than 33 years with the brand, Soejima brings with him rich and varied experience having spent most of his working career outside Japan, especially Europe and Australia.
With almost eight years at the helm of Panasonic Europe operations, Soejima comes with an expertise in conceptualizing and implementation of sales and marketing strategies with a customer-centric focus.
Soejima said: “Middle East & Africa with a huge customer base is one of the focus area of Panasonic’s growth strategy. As a brand, we are confident of satisfying the needs of our discerning customers who are keen on high quality products and solutions with our long tail of product line up to meet their everyday needs - be it home or business.”
