Holiday Villa Hotel & Residence Doha has been awarded the coveted Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) global certification after completing and complying with the food safety management system’s regulatory and statutory requirements. The HACCP certification is the premier level of food safety standard that is highly regarded in the hospitality and food industries.
The esteemed award was presented by Chief Executive Selim Kseib, Businesss Line Manager Vishal Bhat and Business Development Executive Rifaat Al Kahal of Bureau Veritas – a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) that ensures compliance with regulations and standards based on the 7 principles of HACCP. The ceremony was attended by Holiday Villa’s General Manager Joey Chen, Executive Assistant Manager Roy Buma, Operation Manager Ruban Jack, Executive Chef Ismail Ismadi and F&B Manager Zamri Kusnin together with the culinary and management team. Upon receiving the award, Chen said, “Food safety is a top priority at Holiday Villa. The hotel needs to ensure that from procurement, delivery, handling, preparation to consumption, the food safety system is in accordance to the high quality standards of HACCP.”
