Several enthusiasts including students from Community College of Qatar (CCQ) and volunteers attempted a human formation of the ionic image of Tamim Al Majd at Aspire Dome yesterday.
As part of Tamim is Glory National Campaign, CCQ expressed their loyalty and love towards Qatar and Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Students and alumni from CCQ and International volunteers participated in the human formation.
“We came with this creative and unique idea of showing love and support for our beloved country. I love my country, this is a very small gesture which we planned today in order to show our affection towards our dearly loved leader. Today, many people have gathered together to show their support in love of Qatar. We opened the doors to the public to indulge people who are ready to participate,” Safia Al Sheeb, Head of Public Relations at CCQ told The Peninsula.
“Our message today is to show that all the residents living in Qatar, love Qatar and our Emir. Female participants will form the frame of ‘Tamim is glory’ image on a white sheet spread over 2,000 sqm. Half of CCQ students are on vacation, so only few of them showed up,” she added.
Several students from CCQ and its alumni gave shape to the idea. People and families held up the hash tags props of #Tamim_is_Glory , #Long_Live_Qatar and #Long_Live_Tamim for clicking pictures at the Aspire Dome.
Al Jazi Al Hajri, student at CCQ, quoted the Emir: “Great leaders don’t tell you what to do, they show you how it’s done.”
