670 students to participate in Awqaf competition

Around  670 students will participate in the fourth edition of the cultural excellence competition to be launched by the Department of The Holy Quran and its Sciences at the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs today.
The competition will host students of Quranic education centres for children under the age of 22 years. It aims to develop the culture of participants about The Holy Quran and Islamic teachings and motivate them to excel in various sciences emphasising the importance of Islamic culture while developing self-confidence.
The first group will include 250 students and will be hosted by Nafie Al Madani Center, the second group will include 270 students and will be based in the Abdulaziz bin Jassim Al Thani Center, and the third group is composed of around 150 students who will meet at the centre of Aseim bin Abi Al Najod.
