Montreal:  Minister of Transport and Communications H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti said that the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) will consider transparently and logically the technical file presented by the State of Qatar with regard to the abuses committed by the States that imposed the siege, which would endanger the security and safety of aviation in addition to the confusion in the international airlines occurred as a result.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Minister said that there is a flagrant encroachment on all international covenants and conventions of all civil airlines as well as on the right of "innocent passage of international civil aviation" as a result of the siege imposed by a number of Gulf countries on the State of Qatar.

The Minister of Transport and Communications said that he was confident that ICAO would seriously consider the abuses that have constituted a dangerous and unprecedented precedent for the safety and security of civil aviation, expressing his confidence that the organisation would assume its full responsibility regarding these abuses.
