Discover America Week Qatar 2016 is an annual series of events celebrating the US - Qatar partnership, held this year during the week of February 15 to 22, as a joint effort between the Embassy of the United States and the American Chamber of Commerce.
The week was designed to highlight American businesses and innovation, travel, food, music, fashion, art, education and culture.
Highlights of the week included keynote presentations from Alberto Verme, Chairman of Europe, Middle East, and Africa for Citigroup during the Doing Business in the USA Forum; an exciting Presidential Predictions Debate moderated by Northwestern Qatar Dean and CEO Everette E Dennis; and an evening with Jerry Schilling to share the story of his personal friendship with American music legend Elvis Presley.
