Restrictions on movement of trucks during Ramadan

In order to avoid traffic congestion at peak times, and for the safety of road users including pedestrians and drivers during the holy month of Ramadan, the General Directorate of Traffic announced restrictions on the movement of trucks during the days of Ramadan.

Trucks will not be allowed in the peak hours from 8am –9.30 am in the morning, and 1.30 pm -3pm evening and from 5.30 pm to 12.00am midnight.

The Traffic Department urges truck drivers to abide by this regulation to ensure safety and regulate traffic flow during the holy month of Ramadan.
