Al Shahaniya find pace ahead of new season

DOHA: New Qatar Stars League (QSL) side Al Shahaniya produced a fighting draw against an Emirati club in a friendly match during their pre-season training camp in Germany.
Al Shahaniya are in Germany to prepare for the new QSL season which kicks off on September 15.
It was Al Shahniya’s fourth friendly during the current training camp where the side has produced mixed results as the player hit their straps ahead of the new season.
The club’s Tunisian coach Fathi Al Jabal has managed to get all of his players match time in the four friendlies so far.
The coach said the training camp has benefited the side as the team prepares to launch the new football season in Qatar.
Al Shahaniya open the QSL season with a game against the defending champions Al Rayyan on September 17 at Al Sadd Stadium.
