Hong Kong stocks tumble as tech firms hit

Hong Kong: Hong Kong shares plunged more than one percent on Thursday, dragged by a sell-off in technology firms following sharp losses on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index fell 1.51 percent, or 446.48 points to close at 29,177.35.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gave up 0.62 percent, or 20.67 points, to 3,317.19 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dropped 0.90 percent, or 17.20 points, to 1,901.86.
