Is the world safe now???

Had been off blogging for quite a while...its not that ideas or opinions were running dry...but may be the opinions of a few of my dear and near ones had put me off. One thing I know and comprehend for sure now, that I can't keep all happy at all times. A group of five may have ten opinions about the same subject. Well, I am in a venture to overcome all those PUT OFFS I had, and decided to speak my mind out.
Osama Bin Laden - today's topic. I have not done any intensive homework on the subject. Let the journos do that job. But I've been following the news, ofcourse. I can't find myself enthralled at the death of a person, be it a normal one or a terrorist.

"I will mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." -Martin Luther King Jr.

Islam is probably the only religion that has been so widely misunderstood and misinterpreted. I  find ourself (muslims) responsible for all the misunderstandings prevailing amongst majority of the non muslims. The world always takes its course in the way it wants to be. Most well respected and honoured religious leaders has pathetically misinterpreted the writings of Holy Quran, to their own benefits. A mass to follow them blindly. If taken and understood the  true essense of Islam, it's the simplest and most  modest religion. Let I be mis/understood about being biased in my view. I do not know much about other faiths, I do not disrespect them. Everyone has the absolute right to follow what one believes in. I am confident of my faith, its roots and proudly proclaim as mentioned by a protagonist of a popular Indian flick,' I am a Muslim and I am not a terrorist.'

Osama has his records of having created havocs in the western world. Totally agree to that. I do not in any view support him or his subsidiaries or his contemporaries. No one can rightly wash  their hands off from any evils they 've evoked in the world. It might be years of suppression, injustice and negligence or maybe even worse experiences that gives rise to terrorism. But then again, I wouldn't in my sane state, ever support a blind revolution involving mass killing of many innocents brutally.

I saw on television the celebration of death of the most wanted man of the century(perhaps). What do you think, is the world safe now? If not Osama, it might be someone else in his shoes, there's nothing to rejoice in his fall. He is not the first reported terrorist guru the world has seen.   If not him, someone else.  A life is a life, be it a normal person's or a terrorist's. Vanishing him  from the world doesnt guarantee the extinction of terrorism. There are issues larger than life to be solved in the world, as we all know about those. I am not an advocate of terrorism, neither am I an advocate of peace, but can't keep my senses shut from the world either.

Newton's third law of motion - Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, is good being applied to physics. But certainly not in other aspects of life. Let the world wake up from the tactics of tit for tat and  life for a life be stopped once and for all.
Peace for all, justice for all...
