Is Om Puri and Kiran Bedi really at fault for their speech at the Ramlila Ground on Aug 26th 2011 ? Tuesday, 30 August 2011 03:00

Is  Om Puri really at fault for his speech at the RAM LILA Ground on 26th August 2011?

This is in reference to Mr Om Puri’s speech at the Ram Lila Ground on 26th August 2011. The words used by him literally mean Villagers (Gawar), Illiterate (Unpar), etc.

Its very surprising to note that when its open secret that even illiterate person can become MP in India, why are the MPs making such hue and cry over the truth highlighted by Mr Om Puri.

Are the MPs diverting the nation’s attention regarding Anna Hazare’s movement against Corruption ?

Don’t these leaders use such language in their speech in rallies, in Parliament, during election campaign, on TV, etc ?

I would like to request the leaders to recall the speeches made in Parliament against Late Indira Gandhi, Late Rajiv Gandhi, Mrs Sonia Gandhi, etc by the opposition leaders of that time, in which they used all sorts of filthy language to show their disagreement, disapproval and anguish against them.

Mr Advani is a genuine proof in this regard, and he himself had conspired with Late V.P. Singh to insult Late Rajiv Gandhi and Mrs Sonia Gandhi for the Bofors scandal.

Lalooji had arrested Advaniji in Bihar during the latter’s Rath Yatra, and had blasted Advaniji using all sorts of  foul words.

Then why are they today very much depressed by the speech of Om Puri  and  Kiran Bedi ?

Dear MPs, we the ordinary Indian citizens also become frustrated when one of you betray us with corrupt activities during your tenure as people’s representatives. Why do you  not protest, shout and go to the media against the guilty member who also insults the reputation of the MPs by his corrupt practices ?

Didn’t  the Rajas, Kalmadhis, Yedurappas, etc equally guilty in harming their position as a Constitutional authority in the Indian democracy ?

I would like to register my protest for this double-standard of the Indian MPs regarding the concern for the sanctity of the Parliament and the Indian democratic set-up.

Regards
