BAKU: Azerbaijan could boost oil production 12.8% in 2012 but keep gas production flat.
An Azerbaijani government source told Russian Interfax news agency Tuesday that the government was forecasting oil production of 53 million tonnes and gas at 28 billion cubic meters in 2012.
This year's anticipated output is 47 million tonnes oil and 28 bcm gas, the source said.
Oil production grew 0.9% to 50.934 million tonnes and gas rose 11.2% to 26.234 bcm in 2009.(QNA)
