Sheikh Nawaf bin Nasser bin Khaled Al Thani officially opened Laduree Qatar recently at the VIP section in Villaggio shopping mall. A separate opening ceremony took place later for women with Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani cutting the ribbon with many prominent female Qatari figures.

Laduree is a luxury brand based in Paris and is known for its world-famous macaroons that are crisp on the outside, smooth and soft in the middle. With each new season, Laduree pays tribute to its most famous creation by creating a new flavour. The pastry shop is decorated with the unmistakably Laduree pastel green exterior.

Sheikh Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani and French Ambassador Jean-Christopher Peaucelle also attended the opening ceremony.
