Ramallah - A public opinion poll conducted by the independent Palestinian news agency Sama showed that 45% of Palestinians believe that President Mahmoud Abbas should dissolve the Palestinian National Authority (PA) in response to Israel's decision to continue settlement building in the occupied West Bank.

30% of the poll respondents want President Abbas to resign while 25% see that he should continue on as leader of the Palestinian Authority but boycott talks with Israel.

Over 3400 have participated in the one-week survey.
