Cairo - Qatar News agency has learned that a presidential council will be formed in Egypt headed by Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, Commander in Chief and the President of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces.
The new council's member will be beside the military figures, civilian leaders like the President of the Constitutional Court.
The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces that run the country now after President Hosni Mubarak stepped down last night, will be issuing Saturday a decision to form a new government of technocrats ministers and a number of military figures and would not included any figure from the political parties so as to prepare the country for parliamentary and presidential elections and drafting a new constitution.
