Qatar Exchange Up 1.06% Thursday, 06 October 2011 14:11

DOHA: The Qatar Exchange in the green area Thursday adding 86.74 points or 1.06% to 8,242.45 points from the previous closing of 8,155.71.

The volume of shares traded was up to 4,654,812 from 4,572,051 on Wednesday and the value of shares was increased to QR220,402,153.28 from QR205,133,529.93 Wednesday.

Top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 1.51% to QR121.30, Comm. Bank of Qatar rose 3.10% to QR76.40, Qatar Telecom gained 1.86% to QR148.00 and Doha Bank up by 3.68% to QR59.20.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector rose 144.20 and the Insurance sector added 17.29 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 87.69 points and the Services sector was up 50.94 points. (QNA)
