HH the Emir leaves Albania Wednesday, 19 October 2011 12:43

TIRANA: HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani left Tirana Wednesday morning, wrapping up a two-day official visit to the Republic of Albania, for the Republic of Ukraine.

HH the Emir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure at Mother Teresa International Airport by Albanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Edmond Haxhinasto, Secretary-General of the Presidency Aleksander Flloko, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Albania Sultan bin Saad al-Mreikhei, Albanian Ambassador to Qatar Ridi Kurtezi and a number of senior officials.

HH the Emir meanwhile sent a cable to the Albanian President Bamir Topi in which he expressed thanks for the hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit. (QNA)

HE the Premier meets French Ambassador

DOHA: HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani met here Wednesday with HE French Ambassador to Qatar Jean-Christophe Bosel who called on HE the Premier to greet him on the occasion of assuming his duties in the country.

HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister wished the French Ambassador success in his assignment and the relations between the two countries further progress and prosperity. (QNA)

HE the Premier meets US Ambassador

DOHA: HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani met here Wednesday with HE US Ambassador to Qatar Susan Laila Ziadeh who called on HE the Prime Minister to greet him on the occasion of assuming her duties in the country.

HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister wished the US Ambassador success in her assignment and the relations between the two countries further progress and prosperity. (QNA)

HE Prime Minister meets Kuwaiti Ambassador

DOHA: HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani met here on Wednesday with HE Kuwaiti Ambassador to Qatar Ali Sulaiman Al-Haifi.

Bilateral relations and ways of enhancing and developing them were discussed during the meeting. (QNA)

HE the Premier receives written message from UAE Deputy PM

DOHA: HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani has received a written message from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan pertaining to the fraternal relations existing between the two countries and issues of mutual concern.

The message was handed over by HE UAE Ambassador to Qatar Juma Rashid Saif Al Dhaheri during a meeting with HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on Wednesday. (QNA)

HE Prime Minister sends congratulations to Dr. Awn Al-Khasawneh
