Qatar Exchange Up 0.30% Monday, 24 October 2011 13:29

DOHA: The Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Monday adding 25.09 points or 0.30% to 8,457.95 points from 8,432.86 Sunday.

The volume of shares traded up to 9,144,348 from 8,982,906 on Sunday and the value of shares down to QR270,081,996.09 from QR277,144,287.81 Sunday.

Top gainers were Qatar Insurance which was up 1.18% to QR77.30, Barwa Real Estate by 0.84% to QR30.10, United Dev. Company by 7.13% to QR22.40,Gulf warehousing Co up by 1.17% to QR34.70 and National Leasing by 2.44% to QR42.00.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 23.81 while the Insurance sector up 77.79 points. The Qatar industrial sector rose 101.51 points and the Services sector added 1.43 points. (QNA)
