Qatar exchange down 1.42% Monday, 21 November 2011 13:40

DOHA:  The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 123.31 points or 1.42% to 8,580.05 points from the previous closing of 8,703.36.

The volume of shares traded was down to 9,500,018 from 21,606,191 on Sunday, and the value of shares increased to QR377,051,391.16 from QR345,436,105.88  Sunday.

Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 2.12% to QR147.40, Industries Qatar fell 2.60% to QR131.00, Comm. Bank of Qatar lost 1.84% to QR80.00 and Islamic Insurance down 3.11% to QR59.10.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector fell 233.59 points while the Qatar industrial sector dropped 186.14 points and the Services sector down 36.02 points. (QNA)
