Qatar exchange down 0.37% Wednesday, 23 November 2011 13:36

DOHA:  The Qatar Exchange was  down on Wednesday 31.86 points or 0.37% to 8,575.78 points from the previous closing of  8,607.64 .

The volume of shares traded was down to 3,182,717 from  6,068,917 on Tuesday, and the value of shares fell to QR163,254,276.99 from QR233,555,061.44 Tuesday.

Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 0.88% to QR146.70,Comm. Bank of Qatar fell 0.74% to QR80.00, Barwa Real Estate 0.68% to QR29.30  and Electricity & Water lost 0.43% to QR137.90.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 70.36 points while the Qatar industrial sector lost 5.85 points and the Services sector fell 14.11points. (QNA)
