Three killed in fresh Egypt clashes: medic Wednesday, 23 November 2011 14:13

CAIRO:  Three people were killed on Wednesday during fresh clashes between protesters and police in Cairo, a doctor told AFP, on the fifth day of violence that has left dozens dead.

Clashes raged in Mohammed Mahmud street, just off Cairo's iconic Tahrir Square, the epicentre of anti-military protests.

Shadi al-Naggar, a doctor at the Omar Makram field hospital, said three people had died in the violence. (AFP)
