Qatar exchange down 0.09% Monday, 19 December 2011 14:02

DOHA: The Qatar Exchange was  down on Monday 8.11 points or 0.09% to 8,744.76 points from the previous closing of 8,752.87.

The volume of shares traded fell to 8,162,893 from 8,595,428 on last day and the value of shares was down to QR300,862,513.17 from QR308,277,622.63.

Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped by 0.75% to QR132.40, Electricity & Water fell 0.64% to QR139.90, Qatar Telecom lost 0.67% to QR149.00 and Doha Bank down 0.78% to QR63.70.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 25.28 points while the Insurance sector lost 8.65 points. The Qatar industrial sector added 25.87 points and the Services sector down 5.52 points. (QNA)
