Ministry of Labour files case against two firms Tuesday, 03 January 2012 13:18

DOHA: The Ministry of Labor has referred two companies operating in the fields of construction and cleaning to the Public Prosecution after they presented incorrect data to the ministry inspectors regarding salaries.

A number of the two companies workers had submitted a complain to the Ministry saying that they have not received their salaries, in contrary to the documents presented to the inspectors which proved that the workers had received their salaries. After investigation, the documents proved incorrect.

On the instructions of HE the Minister, the two companies were referred to the Public Prosecutor to initiate legal proceedings against them.(QNA)
