DOHA: the Qatar exchange pursued its upswing trend Tuesday adding 94.36 points or 1.07% to 8,880.43 points from 8,786.07 Monday.
The volume of shares traded up to 6,714,237 from 5,559,479 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR214,279,743.44 from QR164,812,263.26 Monday.Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.70% to QR155.60, Comm. Bank of Qatar by 1.19% to QR85.30, Qatar Telecom by 2.26% to QR144.70 and Doha Bank up by 2.33% to QR66.00.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 178.06 while the Insurance sector up 112.37 points. The Qatar industrial sector rose 39.85 points and the Services sector added 50.12 points. (QNA)
