Qatar Exchange Up 0.90% Tuesday, 31 January 2012 13:45

DOHA:  the Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend tuesday adding 76.67 points or 0.90% to 8,568.23 points from 8,440.11 monday.

The volume of shares traded up to 7,723,361 from 4,904,642 on monday and the value of shares increased to QR289,910,922.19 from QR170,859,959.61 monday.

Top gainers were Masref Al Rayan which was up 3.23% to QR25.60, Doha Bank by 2.78% to QR62.90,

National Leasing by 1.76% to QR49.20 and Gulf warehousing Co up by 2.35% to QR36.95.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 145.07 while the insurance sector up 95.08 points.

The Qatar industrial sector rose 113.61 points and the Services sector added 17.16 points. (QNA)
