Qatar exchange up 0.03 pct Wednesday, 01 February 2012 14:16

DOHA: The Qatar exchange keep its upward trend Wednesday adding 2.18 points or 0.03% to 8,570.41 points from 8,568.23 Tuesday.

The volume of shares traded was up to 10,431,918 from 7,723,361 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR513,038,509.37 from QR289,910,922.19  Tuesday.

Top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 1.53% to QR132.60, Masref Al Rayan by 1.95% to QR26.10, Qatar Telecom by 0.96% to QR147.40 and Intl. Islamic Bank up by 0.75% to QR53.40.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 34.06 while the Insurance sector dropped 17.29 points. The Qatar industrial sector up 81.84 points and the Services sector rose 6.85 points. (QNA)
