Qatar exchange up 0.77% Thursday, 02 February 2012 13:43

DOHA: The Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Thursday adding 65.96 points or 0.77% to 8,636.37 points from 8,570.41 Thursday.

The volume of shares traded fell to 6,533,802 from 10,431,918on Thursday and the value of shares down to QR229,495,618.28 from QR 513,038,509.37 Thursday.

Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.76% to QR133.00, Industries Qatar by 1.51% to QR134.60, Qatar Islamic Bank by 0.98% to QR82.50 and  Masref Al Rayan up by 3.45% to QR27.00.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 140.53 while the Insurance sector added 34.58 points. The Qatar industrial sector up 80.10 points and the Services sector rose 11.45 points. (QNA)
