Women’s work and their natural role in life Thursday, 18 November 2010 02:46
There is no doubt that work is a human right and that women like men want to prove their worth and achieve their ambition and do their mission. Women are the half of the society, whose role cannot be overlooked in the train of life.
Women are mothers, sisters, wives and daughters of men and their roles as mothers are different from their roles as sisters, wives and daughters.
Circumstances of each person, whether man or woman who has a role in the conduct and direction in life is characterised as a variable and in each stage of his/her life trying to achieve goals.
Out of giving priority to the interests and priorities, the role of women at home is more important than their role in the workplace and this is not a postulate, but our standard of judgment is the first woman’s goal in her life. It is assumed that the primary goal of each woman is to establish a family and begin to achieve that through looking for a life partner for marriage and each partner will have a role to play for the continuation of family life.
After the marriage, obligations and rights will be the responsibility of each party, the husband is committed to working for the maintenance of the family, satisfying the needs of his home and to provide ways and means of comfort.
The wife is committed to preparing the food and drinks and the creation of the marital home to be a place of peace for the husband to rest from the fatigue of a hard day of work.
Both parties are working for the success of family. The husband works outside and the wife works at home and the work of each is complementary to the other and no stability is achieved unless both parties recognise the role of each other.
With the development of community, multi-media, the proliferation of recreational goods and services and the dependence on money to buy all the requirements of life, which has become countless, the need to work together at home and outside becomes necessary for women who are facing new additional challenges along with the existing burden.
With women’s work, negative phenomena begin to appear in society, but no one realises the adverse effects of women’s work. The presence of women at home to care for her home and raising her children is a top priority and it cannot be compensated because woman is working in her home sincerely. Therefore, the replacement of the role of women in the home by assigning their role to maids or nanny underestimates the role of women even in the presence of the servants at home, where the role of women is essential and indispensable.
Married women are the homes of their husbands and guardians of their children, where they sleep and wake up for protecting their comfort. They also follow up their children in school every day, help them, teach them to do their home works and study and prepare their daily course schedule etc. In addition, they stand on the strengths and weaknesses of their children and identify their interests, especially young ones, where the knowledge of details is very important.
Researches have shown the difference between growth retardation of children in institutions and nurseries and the growth of children in the custody of their mother because the deprivation of the child of his mother disrupts the growth physically, mentally and socially. The growth of children is complete when they are in the custody of their mothers. Therefore, women are preferred to be devoted to the raising of their children in a warm family life.
The success of the mother in the upbringing of their children, giving them proper education and maintaining the integrity of their family is a natural result of each woman being aware of her role in life.
Success and failure are linked to the person. Woman who succeeds with her family and is able to succeed in any field and in any place.
The success of women in establishing a family and maintaining its stability is a strong foundation for a civilised society and its effect is prominent in the composition of society, which is not less than the men’s role, but more because the mother raised the boy until he becomes a good man to play a part in life. With the cooperation of women and men, life will be upright and the family will be the best kernel to create the ideal society.
