 The sale with reduced prices means that the commercial establishment will announce the sale of all or most of its goods with the reduced prices for a limited period for the seasonal liquidation or final liquidation or any other similar reason to be announced for the sale of goods at discounted prices for a limited period. It is prohibited for the commercial shops to sell its goods with the reduced prices or advertise about the same in any way except after obtaining a permit from the competent authority and the competent authority will place some rules and regulations that should be adhered to at the time of conducting this kind of transaction. Whoever violates will be punished in the form of imprisonment of not less than one month and not exceeding one year and a fine of not less than 1,000 riyals and not exceeding 10,000 riyals, or either of them with the possibility of order to close the shop for a period not exceeding one month and in case of repitition, the minimum and maximum punishment will be doubled and the order to close the shop will be mandatory with no prejudice to any bigger punishment prescribed by the another law according to a Trade Law No. 27/2006.
