Doha: According to media reports Saudi Arabian scholar Aaidh Al Qarni was injured in a gun attack in Zamboanga city in the Philippines.
Al Arabiya News channel quoted a Filipino official saying that the preacher was “in good condition,” and is at hospital receiving treatment.
Initially the media reported that a number his bodyguards were killed, but later reports said that only the attacker was killed by the security forces and no guards were killed.
